한경대 산학협력단-KOICA, 협동조합 관련 공무원 초청연수 수원 벨류하이엔드호텔에서 실시

한경대 산학협력단(단장 김계원)은 KOICA(한국국제협력단)와 함께 6월25일(일)~7월8일(토) 일정으로 <가나 농민협동조합 역량강화 사업>을 위한 초청연수를 실시하고 있다. 연수 참가자는 가나 북부 3개 주 협동조합 역량강화 사업에 참여하는 중앙·지방정부 및 협동조함 관계기관 공무원 15명으로 구성되어 있으며, 협동조합 역량강화를 통한 농촌지역에 대한 발전적인 방안을 모색하는 차원에서 실시되고 있다.

가나는 1874년부터 1957년까지 영국의 식민지로 오랫동안 지배를 받다가 독립하였다. 지리적으로 아프리카 서부해안을 중심으로 위치하고 있으며, 식민지시기에 열강의 각축이 되었던 지역이다. 인구는 약 2,300만 명이고, 면적은 남한의 2.5배정도이며, 1인당 GDP는 2016년 기준 $1,800로 한국과는 $29,000로 16배 차이난다.

초청연수 프로그램은 6개의 모듈로 구성되어 진행되고 있는데, ‘할 수 있다, 함께 하자’는 의식개혁, 한국의 경제발전 정책과 협동조합을 통한 지역발전 경험을 배우는 한국의 협동조합, 협동조합을 통한 국제개발협력 방안 및 협동조합의 사업화전략을 배우는 협동조합 사업화 모듈 학습을 토대로 가나에 실제적으로 적용할 수 있는 액션플랜(Action Plan)을 마련하는 데 초점이 주어지고 있다.

오늘의 세션은 상호이해 모듈로서 아프리카를 주요 사업지역으로 하여 다양한 개발협력 사업 전개를 목적으로 하는 개발협력 전문가들에 의해 설립된 아프리카 플러스 협동조합(APA)과의 한국과 가나의 문화교류 행사와 APA 조합원이기도 한 성연진(문화인류학 박사, 국제변호사) 강사가 한국의 문화에 대한 강의가 수원밸류 하이앤 호텔에서 있었다.

이 프로그램에 참여한 오스카 수마일라(Braimah, Oscar Sumaila; 가나 협동조합 법무담당 부국장)는 한국방문이 처음이며 한국의 발전상에 인상 깊었다고 전했으며 이 교육이 아주 훌륭하고 자국에 돌아가서 이번에 받은 교육을 협동조합 관계자에 전수하고 발전시킬 수 있는 기회가 되기를 희망한다고 전했다. 그리고 그는 또한 한국인들이 효율적으로, 빠르게 협동조합을 발전시켰던 것이 인상 깊었다. 그는 이 프로그램을 통해, 한국인들이 어떻게 협동조합을 발전시켰는지 보았고, 어떻게 하면 한국인들이 이뤘던 성취를 이룰 수 있을지 상상한다고 한다. 그의 꿈은 가나 협동조합의 초석을 만드는 것이라 한다.

Hankyong National University Industry-Academy Collaboration-KOICA, Invitation for Cooperative Union-related Officials is held at Suwon High-end Hotel

The Hankyong National University Industry-Academy Collaboration Team (President Kim Kye-won) is conducting an invitation training with the KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency) for a project to strengthen the capacity of the Ghana Farmers' Cooperative with a schedule of 6.25 days to 7.8 days. The training participants consisted of 15 officials from the central and local governments and cooperating organizations that participated in the project to strengthen the competencies of the three provincial cooperatives in the northern part of Ghana.

From 1874 to 1957, Ghana had long been ruled by British colonies and became independent. It is geographically located around the west coast of Africa and has become a major axis of the empire during the colonial period. The population is about 23 million, the area is 2.5 times the size of South Korea, and the per capita GDP is $ 1,800 by 2016, which is 16 times $ 29,000 compared to Korea.

The invitation training program consists of six modules: 'Let's do it together', consciousness reform, Korea's co-operative to learn regional development experiences through Korea's economic development policies and cooperatives, Focusing on developing an action plan that can be practically applied to Ghana based on cooperative project commercialization module learning strategies for international development cooperation and commercialization of cooperatives.

Today's session will focus on cultural exchanges between Korea and Ghana with the APA (Africa Plus Cooperative Association) established by development cooperation experts with the aim of developing various development cooperation projects, Sung Yeon Jin (PhD, an international lawyer), who is also a member of the APA. and He lectured about Korean culture at Suwon Value High and Hotel.

Meanwhile, One of the participants in the program, Braimah(Oscar Sumaila, deputy chief of the Ghana Cooperative's Legal Department), who was the first to visit Korea and said he was impressed with the development of Korea. He said that the education was very good, I hope that it will be an opportunity to teach and develop to the people concerned. And he was also impressed that Koreans developed cooperatives efficiently and quickly. Through this program, he saw how Koreans developed cooperatives and imagine how they could achieve the accomplishments that Koreans achieved. His dream is to create the cornerstone of the Ghana cooperative.
